In the old testament (2chronicles:20), King Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, faced a great challenge. A great multitude of soldiers were coming to battle his kingdom. Humanly speaking, it was absolutely impossible to defeat them with the number of soldiers and weapons he had.
However, the king was conscious of the God he served, he was aware of the power of our mighty God. Cutting the long story, Jehoshaphat sought God and God miraculously saved him and his kingdom.
THE BIG QUESTION----> HOW DID JEHOSHAPHAT DO IT?
- He turned first and foremost to God.
- He proclaimed a fast through out Judah.
- He reminded God of His power.
- He reminded God of His covenant with Abraham and the people of Israel. (we are under a stronger covenant, the new covenant, the covenant of the cross with the blood of Jesus).
- He believed God.
- He praised God.
I'm glad to tell you today that you have a God that is bigger than whatever challenge you are facing.
It doesn't matter the problem; financial, academic, spiritual, marital. He has promised He will never leave us or forsake us.
Just turn to God, believe in His love, He died for us, PRAISE HIM, your prayers are answered.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matt 11:28)
